Grosgrain Ribbon is a tightly woven ribbon with ridges interspersed along the length. It is quite a heavy duty ribbon but still maintains its elegance. It can be printed on using Hot foil, rotary ink, raised ink or silk screen. The most popular print is hot foil. The print quality does depend upon the complexity of the artwork due to the “Peaks and troughs” in the weave. Finer detail can get lost in the ridges. We will always advise you if there is a potential problem with your artwork. Grosgrain is extremely popular with cosmetic, gift wrapping and jewellery companies and can be cut and heat sealed to prevent fraying.Batching and/ or bagging service is available for grosgrain ribbon, both printed and plain.
